The battery life with latest update shows GPS icon all the time and causes battery drain.  Anyone else have this problem.

Yes. Several posts about this issue.

The solution worked for me and others reported it worked as well. It is not without cost of time and having to reset your watch if you have one. Read the disclaimer. Alternatively, you can wait to see how Samsung addresses in the next release.

As @userlQcCM1wRc8 suggested in his post (https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Discussions/Google-Play-Services-Battery-DRAIN/td-p/3184379), you may uninstall / reinstall Google Play Services app to the latest stock version and see if the problem is resolved. 

Also, please don't hesitate to submit an error report regarding to the GPS icon via Samsung members.

After reading I noticed the same problem. Will this be fixed in the stable build rolling out next week? I'd prefer not to go through all of this. I guess we'll know soon enough.

It was pretty easy to do. Just go to google play services in settings on your phone. Uninstall and reinstall updates and it worked. Thanks.

Actually had to go into google play store to uninstall and reinstall Google play services to get stock app
