Since I'm not sure exactly which ones you mean swiping should work. If not then maybe you mean the type that have to be dragged down to the bottom of the screen to the "X" or red area..?
Some notifications can be long pressed and then there's an option to remove. It may only be audio or media notifications. I don't use bubble notifications, so I'm not sure how they work.
