Default Grid View: Gallery App

I've noticed that with the new gallery application, it defaults to a grid view with huge windows.  Before it would go to a vertical list view with small icons.  

What do you all of it? I think it would be great to have a setting where you can choose the default view. 

In addition there is a "Recent," folder and a "Favorite," folder. I think it would be a good idea to be able to have a toggle for these as well. *We aren't even given an option to hide either of these Albums.*

I agree, also do not like folder names on folder rather than below folder.

I liked the old way also. Been working around it. Having the "recents," means there is extra code/processes running which, if turned off, could help the application be smoother. What do you think?

Take it back to the vertical layout and get rid of the recent and favorite folders
