Do you guys find yourself in the middle of the day having a dead battery?

I've been having dead battery problems for years now and a fix needs to come soon. I've upgraded to the S24 Lineup And Have Found Terrible Battery Life when I was on One UI 6 and haven't found any improvements in ONE UI 7. A Fix Is NEEDED. This is VERY important.

Yes, battery life has not been a strong point of the release.

I'm sorry you are having these problems. I on the other hand have seen much better battery life with One UI 7. In fact, before I would take my phone off the charger in the morning, and by the time I made it to work my battery was down to 82 percent. After the update halfway through the day, my battery is still about percent.

I do run the Optimization regularly at least once a day. You should check for apps running in the background. I've found that many games will run even if you haven't played them in a while. Search for apps running in the background shut them down and remove their permission. They could be turning on wifi, Bluetooth ect. Let us know if this helps.

It’s great to hear that you’re seeing better battery life with One UI 7, but I’ve actually been running regular optimization checks and monitoring background apps as well on my S24. I’ve restricted permissions for apps that don’t need access to WiFi, Bluetooth, or background data. Despite all that, my battery life is still bad. Was horrible in ONE UI 6. Still is just as horrible in 7. It's a shame when I compare my S24 to them because I see all my iPhone 13 friends lasting the whole entire day plus when using it very often. In just two hours of sitting idle in my pocket—only checking the time maybe once an hour—it’s already down to 75%. It seems to lose a percentage every few minutes, even with minimal use. Any other suggestions?

During a beta, they focus on app stability and operating system stability. Last year, when the beta for android 14 was released, battery life had issues in the few couple of betas, then on like beta 3 or 4 started to improve. This why they suggest not running it on your daily drive or phone. Give it time.
One thing you can do is turn off the sync and manually check emails and such.

One UI 7 does not inherently have battery problems; I am also experiencing poor battery life with One UI 6.
