Editing Portrait pictures

When taking a portrait picture you can adjust and change blur effects but after the picture is taken you no longer edit the picture to adjust the blur or effects as before. You can only add filter, resize and change brightness contrast etc...

You actually can, it's just hidden now. You just need to click on the little circled "i" under the picture next to the edit tab which is the details tab. When you do, background effect will show up as an option on the picture. Click on that, and it gives you all the blur effects and options as before. It's terrible implementation and counter intuitive. A lot of the changes they've made makes no sense!
