I noticed since the last update that when I delete emails the little email delete notification stays on the screen for many seconds before going away.

Are you using the stock email app? And if so, who do you have it setup to use? (Gmail, yahoo, hotmail ect.) When using the stock email app connected to a 3rd part email host, the stock app will communicate with the host which could take some time dependent on internet connection speeds. Really depends on how many seconds you're talking about if there's an actual bug or a communications delay. If you are using the app from the host, try stopping the app and clearing it's cache.
