While we're waiting for the developers and/or Google to provide the software fix that will allow us to use our Galaxy watches in the manner for which they were created, I've found a way to halt the constant notifications about the plug-in having stopped working.

Turn your watch off. Take it off your arm. Set it on your desk (or any other place you find appropriate).

The notifications stop. Problem solved. Start working it "old school", and look at your phone often to see if there are any important notifications you might have missed. 😉

I use an eSim. I had no problems until last Saturday (10/1) when I went to my Wear app to change a watch face. After opening the app, I was immediately prompted to update the app/plugin. After the app was updated, it immediately crashed and I lost the connectivity with the watch. My experience is that it's the update. However, I wonder if it's only happening to those who run on eSims.

It is only happening to us that run eSim. Started the same for me with the update. However my wife is on Android 12. She doesn't have this issue even with an eSim and the update. It's an issue with eSim, the update and Android 13 altogether.

It is an esim problem. When I turn off my esim, the notification goes away and I can connect to my watch 4 via the wearable app again. But once I turn esim on, the error comes back. I'm surprised the update from yesterday didn't fix it.
