Gear S3 still refuses to connect to my phone

Once I upgraded, I kept getting an intermittent message saying that "Gear S Plugin keeps stopping" and checking in galaxy wearable showed that my watch wouldn't connect to my phone, even if it did try. I reset the watch because I wanted to clear some old junk anyways, Uninstalled galaxy wearable and the gear s plugin, reinstalled galaxy wearable and it seemed to find my watch fine. However, as soon as it tried to install the gear s plugin, I got the message "unable to install, unexpected error". I looked through Google play and it states that "your device is no longer compatible with this version" I did attempt to sideload the plugin and it made it further into the setup, but the app crashed immediately after saying "finishing pairing", which I'm assuming is because it can't access play services. I know it's a beta and I can wait until stable, but if there's any workaround for this, I'd be happy to get my watch working for the time being.

Please try downloading latest galaxy wearable from the galaxy apps instead of Samsung apps.

If the issue persists, Please update Samsung members app to latest version from galaxy store and send us an error report immediately after experiencing the issue from the Samsung memberā€™s app -> Beta Feedback -> Error Reports to help us debug the issue. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your contribution to the beta program.

Did you try wiping the cache partition of your phone using recovery mode?

Sorry to hear that. Maybe the next update will fix it. I'm not having issues with my original Galaxy Watch or my Gear S3 Frontier.
