Hey all! Has anyone else experienced this behavior? This is present in OneUI 8.5 beta 1 & 2

Google Messages and other Material UI color is set to "grey scale" instead of the original color scheme prior to OneUI 8. Creating a color palette profile fixes the issue inside of all google material apps.

Light Grey - color palette disabled
Normal Grey - color pallet enabled for any selection

Hello,

Weโ€™re sorry for the inconvenience youโ€™re experiencing.

To help the team accurately identify the cause of this issue, we kindly ask that you submit an Error Report immediately after reproducing the problem so that the relevant system logs can be captured.

1. Open Samsung Members โ†’ One UI Beta Program โ†’ Beta Feedback.
2. Select Error reports and attach any relevant screenshots or screen recordings (if available).
3. Make sure โ€œSend system log dataโ€ is enabled before submitting.

Important: For accurate log collection, please submit the report within 3 minutes of reproducing the issue and do not kill the task of the Samsung Members app until you receive notification that the error has been sent (about 5 minutes)

Hey One UI Beta team! Any ETA on getting this resolved? It seems to be an issue for any device running OneUI 8.5 in both production released software builds and beta builds. As stated by other users in posts like this: https://www.reddit.com/r/oneui/comments/1pxg1ki/google_messages_and_one_ui_85_beta_2/ This is a repeat issue that I would expect to be caught during internal QA. Google messages has been default started with the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 and Samsung's own announcement was that Google messages will be the default. https://www.phonearena.com/news/samsung-to-stop-pre-installing-samsung-messages-on-galaxy-devices_id...
