I had 96% battery when I disconnected my charger it's been 2 hours with very low usage and my phone is at 68%. Anyone else have a drastic battery drop after the new update?

With every update, you have to wait 2 weeks for your phone to learn your usage.

Don't forget to turn on adaptive battery.1771739562064.jpg

@-CROW- That is not all correct. Do firmware changes make some adaption necessary, yes. But those changes do not wipe out was was adapted altogether. Apps not updated to the latest firmware (which is not just related to a Ul change but monthly updates too), or older temp files still residing in the system cache needing to be cleaned out (wipe cache partition) or optimizing the apps Imagine monthly updates can be minor issues, But not 2 weeks every month to re-learn the whole battery adaptivity funciton. That would be counterproductive and there would mass frustration and probably lost sales.

I have never had my device go through relearning power suage during monthly or UI changes, they have remained very stable since I bought my S25U and it learned my usage over a year ago. This is a screenshot 2 days after getting beta 4 & 2 days after beta 5.

That's incorrect. This is from Samsung. After the update, if you notice that your battery is draining faster, the phone needs 14 days, which is 2 weeks, to relearn. Not learn, but relearn. I hope you're not going to say Samsung is wrong too. Good luck, brother.1771771319695.jpg

That is not directly from Samsung Support or official tech support language. That is from Samsung members communities posts by a mod admin as in best practices.

It does not reset every update to needing 1-2 weeks for the very reason I said other than minor changes leftover files from previous firmware.

Look it up, find official Samsung documentation stating that period. I get some draining will happen. But as I noted with own screen shots (and have more from before the 8.5 beta). Again, people would be angry if their devices totally reset to learn their setups they've already had in their devices.

That's funny. You're better than the certified technicians who work for Samsung? OMG.
I won't listen to you. I only listen to the people who made this phone.
Alright man. Again, good luck.
Have a good day.

A community manager is not a developer. I ask for actual documentation to it taking 7-14 days to relearn. Even that screenshot does not use the language you inserted . It says , "If you notice your battery draining a little faster than usual after an update, this is completely normal and should resolve itself  within 7-14 days.", not that it takes 7-14 days after every update.  That page was created for the community by a community manager, send them a private message and ask them for the documentation that states what you stated. I literally showed images of my device after updates that do not reflect any learning again for another 1-2 weeks again and I have not had that since it first adapted after I got the phone early last year. Anything that is being adapted is low level stuff adjusted to firmware changes or apps not being updated etc.
