P.S.
Turning off the media player in the "Now Bar" settings is not the solution I'm looking for, because it also disables the playback controls on the lock screen and elsewhere.
I only want to remove the music info from the status bar, nothing more. Just like how it was before the update.

I've been trying to find a way to remove the music info that appears in the status bar when something is playing, but after spending hours researching, I still havenโ€™t found any working solution.

If anyone knows a reliable way to turn this off, Iโ€™d really appreciate your help.

Others have already raised similar concerns โ€” like in this post:https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Discussions/Any-way-to-remove-Now-Bar-from-Status-Bar/td-p/31743...

But it seems no meaningful changes have been made so far. This makes me wonder what the point of having a community forum is, if clear feedback like this isn't being addressed.

In my case, I'm using Spotify, and the music display in the status bar is incredibly distracting. The song title scrolls quickly, and the colors flash and change every time the track changes. It becomes very hard to focus on the actual content of the screen โ€” especially for users who are sensitive to motion or visuals.

Has the One UI design team seriously considered the impact on people with visual sensitivity? From a UX perspective, this feels like a serious oversight.

Do users really need to see the song title at all times, especially when theyโ€™re already listening and likely know whatโ€™s playing? The usefulness of this feature feels very limited โ€” especially compared to the distraction it causes.

I do appreciate the continuous updates and new features Samsung provides. But designers also need to understand that not every change improves the user experience for everyone. At the very least, shouldnโ€™t users be given the option to revert changes like this?

I sincerely hope this gets fixed soon. Thank you.

I am with you, I do not want the media player in the live notification area of the status bar. Turning it off in live notifications is not an option, because it will then only put in the Quick Panel. There currently is no setting to achieve this.
