I don't understand some things

I'm having very improved battery life on mine since the beta 4. I really don't understand if they can improve your battery life by whatever updates they send Ota why don't they give their phones the best battery life it can possibly have? That's what I don't understand. If they are able to release 1 beta and it's horrible drain then they release 1 and it's so much better and drains slower no 1 can say they can't give us the best battery life since the batteries aren't increasing in size despite them "supposedly" doing away with the 3.5 mm headset jack and SD card for a bigger battery. Yet it hasn't gotten any bigger the last 3 or 4 years and the least they could do would be to give Ota things to make it the best it can be going forward. Not 1 beta to the next. This is what baffles me. They can do it, clearly, but they choose not to. So we get stuff like them taking away things by force and they change things the vast majority of people didn't want, like no Bluetooth s-pen on the S25 or no memory card capability but still a sim tray that would be the same size if they put SD card capability on the other side. They said they removed the s-pen Bluetooth capabilities because only 1 percent of customers used it regularly if I remember correctly and how does taking it away benefit any customer? It doesn't just like the other things didn't but it's either don't have it or don't upgrade and they want you to upgrade and it's actually a downgrade to the S25 and the S25 one ui 7 isn't even stable. They could have made some improvements to the software and ui and worked on it for another year and released it next year. I just feel like customers and beta testers get treated like we aren't important and Samsung wonders why the S25 sales aren't like they normally are? I mean it's not difficult to figure it out. Quit forcing what you want on us and so many people don't want what you want us to have.

I also see people in here talking about people complaining about the beta testing taking so long and they don't think people should complain and they don't care what software version they have or they tell people to be patient and their feelings aren't valid. That's powerful hypocritical to say if you are in the beta testing. If you don't care about the software why beta test and why participate. Wait for the stable version if "it doesn't matter to you what software you have." If someone didn't care they wouldn't be in the beta testing. I have been in the past 3 or 4 and it is slow and absolutely ridiculous the amount of time it's taking and Samsung not telling us anything concrete.

Also they have been testing this for 2 to 3 years. Which is it? 2 or 3. I don't understand why that's a difficult thing to know, especially from the company doing and developing it. You don't know how long you have actually been working on a major ui overhaul? Sure. Makes perfect sense

To understand things you want to understand you have to be a developer and not just a simple front-end or backend developer. This is a very complex system it's jot just android there are so many things the integrations like smartthings etc .. batter drain is reduced by improving the code and efficiency.. that takes time.

And the main point was Samsung doesn't care about their customers and they have the opportunity to make sure everything is working great and they have made this beta testing an absolute nightmare and they could have waited for another year to release it as it's been 2 or 3 years they have supposedly been working on the new ui. So they could have waited another year and also not released a new phone that's obviously a downgrade and doesn't even have a stable version of one ui 7 android 15. They are getting worse and worse as they go along as I have been in the past 3 or 4 beta tests so I'm speaking from experience. This is the worst 1 I've ever been apart of. Then they make a new line that's basically the same as the old line, the S24, then they wonder why they have to give people incentive to buy and mark down the prices almost immediately on the S25 line. That's the point of my post. They don't consider what the customer wants in their phones or the beta test. No I'm not interested in buying a phone that loses features and has the same exact specs as this years besides the chipset and the screen goes from 6.8 to 6.9 inches. You lose s-pen Bluetooth capability. Same battery size. Same charging speed. Not a stable version of the software. They force us to buy and get a downgrade or stay with the S24 to have what we want. Why buy an ultra if the s-pen doesn't work like it does with the S24 Ultra? I don't see the point if it's basically a downgrade.

Again not true and this goes deeper. While we can both discuss their questionable decisions but if they waited there would be 100s more here shouting Android 15 has been out why cant Samsung give it to us. Samsung cares that's why it is working on one UI otherwise they can give you vanilla Android which will cause them less work, time and money hence your point isn't right. Now when it comes to not changing the device drastically, that is definitely needed for faster OS upgrades too many changes mean too many customizations in the end leading to longer development cycles, hence they are doing incremental changes so they can provide faster updates and more updates cycles like 7 years of updates etc (Look at apple as an example). For cranking in battery sizes and faster charging you have to understand their Smartphone market is too big for them to take such a big risk and fail. They can't have another note 7 fiasco. This is not a sound business decision for them to suddenly put 100w charging while that makes sense for small Chinese OEMs as they also have less accountability they will just tell you to f-off if your phone explodes or burns your house, Samsung being a bigger company has more liabilities and accountability so yes they can be adventurous in limitations. Not just being a developer you also need to study business don't be a Karen crying out here, every year there is someone shouting worst Beta ever never Samsung again, every year... Don't try Beta builds if you can't handle .. also let me educate you a little bit... Beta is testing so they don't have to make everything working great before releasing. Boss you lack basic understanding of everything.

No I actually don't and what I said was a small part of what you addressed and you know thousands of tech people are saying the same thing. So they took away the s-pen Bluetooth capabilities because it was a risk to have it even though it's never caused a problem? I said nothing about faster charging and it was Samsung who said they were doing away with the stuff for bigger batteries so you want to talk about the company then I will. They said they were getting rid of 3.5 mm headset jacks and SD card slots for bigger batteries and they got smaller after they got rid of it. So I don't know what you are on about as I'm using something they said and thousands of other people said the same thing so I'm not saying anything they didn't say first. I know what beta testing is for as well so you think you are saying something when I'm saying what Samsung said about situations. If the batteries were a liability why shrink them after they were made a bit smaller than the note 7 and they were bigger than before getting rid of the headset jack and SD card? And what does getting rid of the SD card or Bluetooth s-pen capabilities do to not be a liability or to make the phones better or safer? What do you have to say to that. Only a few people seem to have an issue with what I say and many people like Android Authority, Android Police and many other tech places and huge tech people on YouTube are saying exactly what I am. I guess we are all wrong huh? And you assume that I don't know things but you don't know what I know. I don't lack understanding of things you assume I do. How do you know what I know and what I've studied or what I've seen or been involved in? You assume. Most of what you said was assumption about me. And when thousands of others who have tons of experience are saying the same thing I guess people with millions of people who listen to them are Karen's as well? Shows how you think about the world. Congratulations :confetti_ball:

Neither is the S7 in your line of logic if you followed it yet you talked about the note 7 in your response. Have a great day. Obviously uninformed

And I don't care what you think about me. I know what I know and you only assume that you know what I know. There's a huge difference between the 2. I'm not going to respond to you anymore either. I don't care what you think. You assume. I don't
