I feel like there's a lot of wasted space on the home screen when you have apps and widgets on there.
It would appear that you could drag down to the bottom but It won't allow you to move an icon in that available space

Agreed, I tried to add a clock widget but the space went back to before it.

Hello,

Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding home screen spacing and widget placement in One UI 7 Beta. We understand how maximizing available space for icons and widgets is important for a customized and efficient layout.

Some users have noted that certain areas appear to have unused space, preventing icons or widgets from being moved into those sections. Adjusting the Home screen grid size (Settings > Home screen settings > Home screen grid) may help, but if the issue persists, we encourage submitting a Bug Report via Samsung Members > Beta Feedback > Error Reports along with screenshots to help the development team analyze this behavior.

We appreciate your feedback as Samsung continues refining the One UI experience. Thanks for being a part of the One UI Beta community.

Regards,
One UI Beta Team
