Installing third-party apps

I'm trying to install third-party apps when I click to open the file to install, the screen jumps to the home page and won't let me install

If you turned on the auto blocker it probably won't let you install it.

Same thing for me. I try to go into my files (yellow icon) and install a 3rd party app using an APK i download and it will just put me back on the home screen.
