I've noticed that when I'm typing on some apps (TikTok, Twitter, Instagram) it feels like the keyboard has been raised up a little bit higher than before I updated to the beta, just to clarify I'm using Gboard. I wonder if others have noticed this as well? The raised keyboard does cover UI elements on those mentioned apps above.
