Lockscreen unlock method is inconsistent.

I noticed that when I lock the phone, the fingerprint unlock is not always triggered. It will have me use the swipe to unlock, which then opens the PIN code screen. I am also noticing that the screen will also bring up the sensitivity swipe screen as if my intentional screen touch were accidental.

I have not experienced that. Make sure you submit it as feedback using the same menu where you access this community.

EDIT: Never mind. It's happening to me, too. It's gone from fingerprint to PIN and seems to be ignoring my mode to keep the phone unlocked on my home WiFi.
