I am on the second beta and still am not able to download the manager app to my phone.  Originally I got an error trying to get to the download page in the store.  Now I click Participate and get a message stating I'm not authorized.

How can I get this update? I have the beta on my watch and the updated Health app.

Thanks for the clarification.  I was able to get the update a different way.

For those having the problem and previously had a Watch 4, here is what worked for me...

Originally clicking the beta banner on the Discover screen took me to the beta for Watch 4.  There was no option for Watch 5.  I was able to enroll, update the Health app and download the beta to the watch.  The Manager app never worked.  While looking for a solution, I clicked into the Notices and saw both Watch 4 and Watch 5 beta offers to join.  Once I went into the Watch 5 beta notice, I was able to update.

Have you tried this: go into where you would update the health app, then scroll all the way down and select "view beta apps". It should show all 3 beta plug-ins and you might be able to update everything from there....worth a try

If you mean the page to enroll in the beta, yes.  The two app updates are next to each other.  The Health update works, the Wear does not.

Right, I'm asking if you go into the health app from that screen,  scroll down unitl you see "view beta apps" then hit that and you should see all 3 beta apps. You should be able to update from there. I'm suggesting this because I had the same problem and this worked for me.

My apologies, I should have explained my suggestion a little better the first time! Glad you figured it out though. I think that was part of my issue too, when I couldn't update the watch manager. I have a Galaxy 4 watch. I had 2 separate banners on my discover page (didn't realize that until after my issues) one for Galaxy 4 watches and one for Galaxy 5 watches. I think I inadvertently signed up through Galaxy 5, and then was not able to update the manager,  which I assume is different for each watch. After I figured out my workaround to update the watch manager, my watch completely locked up and would only make emergency calls. Full reset of watch and clicking on the watch 4 banner fixed everything. So for anyone else reading this, and signing up for the beta, please make sure you select the appropriate banner for your watch!
