I really like the improvement to the immersive view in the new Google Maps update, but I honestly don’t think this is the final result. I hope the improvements don’t stop here.
Android Auto still doesn’t support turn-by-turn navigation on the HUD in most cars, especially the 2025 Toyota Camry. It would be great to see Google continue improving Android Auto and expand HUD support so navigation directions can actually be displayed on the car’s HUD.
Just like iOS already does with its navigation features.
