My files app won't open

Can't open the my files app. Says it needs permission but it still doesn't work.

I gave permission and mine opened up with no problem. Did you give permission to all ?

If you follow the prompt, it should blink and let you know. "remove permissions if the app is unused" has been turned on. Turn it off and grant permissions.
