Yes, you can only get the update if you have an unlocked or T-Mobile or Sprint phone as of right now.

Yes, it will work as long as the device is unlocked or with T-Mobile or Sprint as I stated in my post.

Thanks for restating more clearly. Your original statement:

That made it sound like you had to have an unlocked phone on T-Mobile or Sprint. Would help if you updated the wording of your original post. Others will likely misunderstand it as well.

For those of you who have registered but are not getting the update, go to settings, Software update and just keep clicking check for updates. I hope this helps!
