As someone that uses the edge panel religiously, I'm really disappointed that the edge panel on One UI 8.5 can only hold a maximum of 22 apps 😕 Please update 😢 when the official launch release is still in beta! #EdgePanel #Apps #Update #Beta #Disappointment

You will likely need to wait for HomeUp support for expanded capacity in the edge panel

Edge panel is garbage and so plain you want a decent customizable Edge panel download an app on the Play store called shortcutter it actually has a sidebar and it's Immaculate and you can customize it however you'd like on top of it all it really puts the edge panel to shame the only thing that it can't do that Samsung's Edge panel can is the dual screen shortcuts or if you had something on the top and on the bottom you know your split screen and then you saved that which very Niche amount of people actually do so really if all you're looking for is a scroll to the side Quick Lunch bar kind of thing definitely get that other program and say bye-bye to Edge panel when this program first came out and they were also talking about possibly getting rid of the edge panel I had started using this and I'm never going to go back shortcutter does a lot of other decent great stuff for your phone as well it was like kind of like a goodlock before goodlock was a thing

Try it I don't think you'll be disappointed especially since you want it for a sidebar and that's really the main reason that I use it for and I would recommend it to anybody time and time again

Which app are you referring to, the edge panel? The edge panel settings are in the display settings of your phone.  You first have to turn it on and then select which edge panels you want to show.  The panel the OP is referring to is the app panel where you can add app shortcuts.  It is a stock panel. You can find and download additional panels in the Galaxy store.

Sounds like  you are trying to use the edge panel as a substitute for the app drawer or home screen.  I don't think it was ever meant for that.  I have my 10 most frequently used apps (that are not on my favorites row) on my edge panel.  By frequently used, I mean multiple times a day.  The fact that they are even allowing 22 surprises me, although if  you are on the beta, it may be a limitation of the beta since Good Lock modules often to not work in the betas.  One may as well use the app drawer or create a folder with all those apps right on their home screen or favorites row for easy access.
