I have received the update for the Galaxy Watch4 beta plug-in (no changelog was included) that reverted some changes such as the watch face selection mode and made the wearable app respond faster than usual. I'm not aware of any other changes so far, but this update has fixed the problem I was waiting for.
You can update this from the banner or from wearable app on the 3 lines>about Galaxy Wearable>Galaxy Watch4 Manager.
