I think it would be nice if Samsung message had a trash can for deleted messages just in case you accidentally deleted 1 you'll still be able to retrieve it

It absolutely does tap the 3 dot menu

Samsung messages has been replaced with Google messages and there's no recovery option for deleted messages unfortunately

It does, the issue I have is It's only 30days , but goodle has archive,

Yu can turn the 30 days option off. I did mine
