Yep I understand trying out different brands. Just letting you know in advance whatever model One Plus I had, mainly because I was poor and phone was cheaper than others available then but had a big screen, it always felt underperforming and underoptimized for what was reported to be under the hood, hardware and software wise.

Nope, literally the same cameras front and back. Other than 5x they plan on using . Same design for the last 4 generations.

I usually upgrade every two years and trade in my recently paid off phone through T-Mobile and end up getting a pretty good deal

I usually upgrade every year but not anymore. S23 Ultra is last for me for Samsung phone since S8. I just switched to iPhone 15 Pro Max and I am in the process of migrating all my files. The user experience is just much better overall in iPhone. Samsung tries to keep up copying from Apple but it's just not the same.
