S24U faster than S25U

Hi, I have an S24 Ultra (One UI 7) and an S25 Ultra (One UI 8 beta 2). Before the first beta 8, the S24U was much faster than the S25U saving a LOG video with color correction applied (when the S24U finished, the S25U was still at 61% of the process!) and similarly fast with audio eraser. After the first beta 8 (S25U) they became even, but now with this beta 2 I notice the S25U is a bit slower again, although not as slow as when I had One UI 7. I hope that when the official One UI 8 is released, the S25U will take full advantage of the QSND 8 Elite, which is currently running worse than the previous version, QSND 8 gen3. If anyone has experienced something similar, please let me know. Best regards and have a great day everyone.

I do notice that beta 2 is a little bit slower again. Scrolling and swiping, is back to the way it was.

It actually works pretty well for me overall and is very stable since the first Beta 8, I've only been seeing very specific performance differences between the S24U (taking advantage of the fact that I still have one along with the S25U). If for example you run 3DMark and/or Geekbench 6, which I did just out of curiosity, since they are synthetic numbers that are not always faithful to reality, and where the S25U far outperforms the S24U. The real performance tests I did, either applying color correction to LOG video and/or with the audio eraser, is where the lack of optimization in the S25U for these 2 functions is still noticeable, for everything else it works excellent.

Good Lord! That's what I say! If you don't know something, don't miss the opportunity to remain silent, and if you do, then argue. The time elapsed since an update has nothing to do with it, as long as the cache partition has been cleared, all apps and notifications have been closed, and both phones are at the same temperature (THIS IS HOW THEY ARE STABLE!). It's basically a matter of optimization in the programming instructions; a QSD 8 Elite is capable of much more than what is achieved now in certain specific cases. And I'm only stating this because almost no one addresses the issue, and for Samsung to correct these details, they need to know, and that's the reason for the beta versions. Furthermore, when the S25U was updated to One UI 8 first beta, its performance immediately improved compared to the S24U, as I already mentioned. Thanks for any input from you...

I think Samsung did this on purpose. It feel like an slow iPhone now. I liked it better when it was faster and snappy

I've noticed this too. Seems to be lagging a bit more. Like some apps would hang on loading things. It's still fast compared to ios 26 but when apps seem to not load or you get the random blue circle and it hangs there for a while, it feels very unusable. I was going to run it but some apps weren't working as intended. So I had to jump back to my iPhone.

I have the 25 Ultra on t-mobile and yes, I've noticed the bars and service has been choppy. Plus, at home, the wifi drops a lot.

Makes your phone feel fast all the time, turn off animations. Beta 3 is wasting a lot of animation time and it feels clunky. 1751704346259.jpg
