This is the worst beta program EVER, even Google pixel have a better beta program, not to mention that Apple have the best beta program out of all three. Samsung is holding the final release of the One UI 9 to force people to buy their new phones. It is SAD and very disappointing

Nothing new they do it every year and why would you want to rush it anyways, Let them fix whatever needs to be fixed first before they release the stable update.

I kind of agree. However, (and this is definitely a tangent to the main point. I just think it is worth addressing given recent hype about software) at the same time, it is not in our interest as consumers if companies start to make "innovation" focused more on more on software they give to new phones rather than the actual hardware that actually makes a new phone genuinely different.

And Samsung's strategy is definitely increasingly skewed towards software segregation.

I guess we don't want to end up in a scenario where we pay $1000+ for a piece of hardware that in reality acts like a fancy license to use new software.

Exactly my point. Because the S25U was not going to get the beta before the S26U i spent $1,500.00 getting the S26U, i shouldn't have to do this if Samsung releases the beta like Google and Apple. All phones get it at the same time. But some people don't understand how hard is to be spending 1K or more just to be able to get the hands on the latest beta software or the new software.

It's a beta. No one sane would feel forced to spend 1K on a new phone just to join a BETA. You're the problem here

I don't want to be crying like everybody else when they can't join the beta program because samsung will only provide it to those with the latest phones. Plus I don't mind spending my money on whatever I want. I love technology and I will keep doing the same whenever I feel like doing so until samsung change this trash beta program, they should allow everyone join the beta the same day like Google or Apple beta program

When Google Pixel did their stable release for Android 17, a bunch of bugs popped up anyway.

The beta program typically lasts 3 months and the final release usually hits the most recent flagship phones first. That's why the fold devices will get it out of the box and the Galaxy s26 series will get it a few weeks after. It's likely that the stable release will be end of August or into September. My guess is that there will be at least one more beta update, then we will get the final release.
