DiscussionsSamsung contact sync is the single most draining app on my GW5. Draining over 6% during the day. It did not happen before the beta. Battery life has become much worse because of this.

DiscussionsHello, find out the solution for both the Galaxy Watch and the S24 or S23. There is a bug in the automatic synchronization of accounts. To solve it, simply disable it and do it manually.

DiscussionsI have to say i am severely disappointed with the lack of support from Samsung. My Galaxy Watch 6 was lasting about 26-30 hours, and after the last few updates now lasts about 5hrs. This makes the device useless! I had the same issue on my Galaxy Watch 4 and at random times on my previous S23 Ultra phone and now on my S24 ultra phone.
I am getting close to giving up on Samsung completely as this issue has been reported for years by lots of people and crickets from samsung! The Samsung Contacts Sync Service is currently using 175% (Not sure how thats possible) of my battery according the Wear app and previously showed it was using 52%.
Maybe DOGE needs to visit samsung!

DiscussionsI'm with you on giving up on Samsung! My Galaxy watch 4 now lasts over 24 hours but my Galaxy Watch 6 lasts maybe 4. It resolves itself randomly, but I can't use a device for 4 hours and hope, I've given up on it. The Galaxy s24 ultra also after random updates suddenly does the same thing so I can't trust it.
These issues have been reported by hundreds of people for years. I'll be moving to a new platform in the next few months, but this means that no samsung devices of any kind will be allowed to be purchased for my home, my company, and since we sell computer equipment our clients will be informed that Samsung is banned due to not deserving our business!
