Samsung messages

I use Google Messenger and didn't know until today but you can uninstall Samsung Messages. 

Well not really uninstall but disable the app and it goes away. 

Long press the app and select the info icon on the top right of the pop-up, the bottom right will show disable and the app will be removed from your app tray.

Just for awareness you were able to do this the day you purchased the device.

This is how it's always been. I wouldn't be surprised if the app disappears soon, since it's being phased out.
