I just downloaded the latest September beta update and now only two apps open on my S22 Ultra every other app just crashes. I've tried restoring my phone from a backup but that hasn't helped either. I would caution anyone TO NOT download the September update. My S22 Ultra is now a paperweight it is totally unusable.

This is totally unacceptable. What phone are you using?

Seems to be working fine for me. Try running the repair apps from the recovery menu.

Turn off your phone > hold the power and volume up button to turn it back on > continue holding until you see the recovery menu > use the volume buttons to navigate to repair apps > use the power button to select.

You could also try GoodGuardians and app booster for better performance too

If repairing apps from recovery menu doesn't work, then I suggest you restore official software (UI4/Android 12)

How would I be able to do that?

To remove the beta software, perform a rollback to the previous release version, using the Smart Switch PC Version on your computer. The rollback resets the device and removes data generated during beta testing. If you backed up your device data to your computer with Smart Switch, you can restore the data after the rollback process. To perform the rollback, connect the device to your computer with a USB cable. On the computer, launch the Smart Switch application, and select "Downgrade".

You can then reinstall the beta, or opt out of the beta program.
