Side bar

I am big user of the side bar and also make every attempt to keep my phone locked and secure. I have had the beta 2 and now beta 3. My 4 year old grandson grabbed my phone to play a game but I notice he already had phone unlocked and game on. Took me a while to figure out that the side bar opened the phone even though I use bio and or a pin when locked. After digging I finally found you can lock the apps from showing on side bar when phone is locked till you unlock it. This should had been a thing like in android 14 when phone was locked side bar didn't show on lock screen at all.

I never noticed it until you mentioned it. It should be locked when the phone is locked. Thanks for bringing it up.

I can't remember but there was an option to lock apps on the bar on lock screen but now the bar shows up and but says "unlock phone to see apps" wish the bar didn't show or there wasn't two things you have to search and click on to make sure locked.

I have tried multiple times to replicate it, and it always prompts the pin or biometric unlock. Maybe your grandson learned your pin and unlocked the phone.

Same thing here, pin is always required

I double this... It asks for a Password... Maybe they saw your password and got in the phone?

That's what I thought and handed my phone to my daughter so it didn't recognize my face and the bar showed up for her to open phone. However in first response I was able to say there was a work around.
