Slow shutter when camera is zoomed

My camera seems to be super laggy when I zoom. Picture is a second or two after I press the button.

Not having that issue. Try clearing the camera app cache & data.

Thank you for the response. I tried this, but I'm still having the issue. Mostly when I zoom above 50.

OK, when taking the image, is the area dark? Try doing that aiming at a lighted source.
