Good morning Samsung seems your competitor Apple was able to do the impossible and get FDA approval for their BP monitoring and is releasing this week along side older watches.

Is there any status update on the approval or is this just that one feature that Apple has gotten an edge over yall on the watch department indefinitely.

I believe Samsung has answered my question on this post based on your response. And it seems as though it's not in their line of sight or priority..

in time it will probably happen that doesn't happen overnight n apple have been attempting to get approval for now I think for 6 years, so it doesn't happen overnight and it does take a while a lot of paperwork a lot of proving stuff it's not something they're going to do in a beta that something that's going to come on it's own later on, but the blood pressure feature on the watches seems to work just fine more accurate I find than Apple because my sister's Apple watch read my blood pressure at a certain pressure which seemed way off and then my ultra watch read it to the correct amount so there's differences and even though FDA approved doesn't mean that it's accurate, which ultimately you aren't accurate doesn't matter if it's approved or not

Just to make note, Apple did not get approval for blood pressure monitoring, they got approved for hypertension monitoring which is completely different. The Apple Watch and Galaxy Watch monitor hypertension and blood pressure differently. The Apple Watch uses its optical heart sensor to detect patterns of hypertension over time and provides alerts, but it doesn't measure actual blood pressure. In contrast, the Galaxy Watch can measure actual blood pressure using its sensors but requires regular calibration with a traditional blood pressure cuff.
