Any have issues with their notifications panel not pulling down or exiting properly and starts freezing up the system. then the system UI app crashes and gives me option to close or wait. If I wait it might recover after a moment, but close will lock the phone and everything is blank till system UI finally reloads.
Try clearing the system cache. Power off device, then after that, press and hold both the volume up and the side (power) buttons at the same time until the recovery screen appears. Using the volume buttons, move the highlight over "Wipe cache partition", press the side button. Then use the volume button again to highlight "Yes", press the side button. It will then default to the top "Reboot system now" and press the side button again to restart the device as usual. See how that works.
