Google Pay/GPay/Wallet never works with a beta. Google requires the OS to be certified by them for Google Pay to work. They don't certify beta software.

G Pay is being put down anyway. They are replacing it with Google Wallet.

This has been a known thing for years that on Samsung's beta software you cannot use Google Pay or Wallet or whatever, it's not a new thing.

Samsung Wallet works. Although I like GPay 100 times more, Samsung Wallet is holding me over until then

One positive is you can turn NFC off, Samsung pay doesn't require it to be on.
