this is my second ultra watch that I have replaced and Iām having the same issues.
Basically to sum it up,
when my Samsung ultra watch (with cell service) is near my device whether I answer the call on my phone or the watch, the call will always revert to the phone. Usually not an issue to move it to the watch BUT the watch never broadcasts the call. Itās always coming from my cell phone speaker/microphone.
the watch will acknowledge that the call was āmoved to watchā but the call will always broadcast from the device. Itāll even give me the option to āmove to phoneā.
i do have the new Ui7 beta software on the phone but the watch was working in November with no issue for about 20 days.
we initially thought it was the watch but the new watch has the same issue. When we power down the phone or walk away from it (far enough to disconnect it) the watch will let me answer the calls from the watch and have the conversation.
anyone have a fix or is Samsung aware of this issue?
This is an example of the chances one takes when joining a beta test group. You should be reporting this problem in the beta feedback section in the Members app and hope that it gets resolved either in a beta update or in the final stable One UI 7 release.
This is a known issue with beta 2 update, you are not alone and Samsung is aware and working to resolve the issue in beta 3. Beta 2 broke compatibility with oneui watch 6 and oneui 7. šš»
