Unstable Double Tap Unlock

Is it just me or sometimes (quite often actually) I have to double tap multiple times to unlock the phone (no always-on display)...

This issue is more likely to happen when the phone was not used for a while.

I have the same issue. If I double tap too fast it does nothing. Tap Tap does nothing, bit Tap...Tap opens right up
