Lately I've noticed that the new version one ui beta 7 . beta 3 delay with improvements. will people like this and if this is true .article is true. Previously, leaker FamilyTaes had claimed that the Korean tech giant could release the One UI 7 Beta 3 update between December 30, 2024 and January 6, 2025 - which is consistent with the same assumption.

Now that I see others having similar issues. I'm also having battery issues. Especially in calls. Like really especially in calls. My drain in calls specifically snapchat went from about 2.5%/hour to closer to 10

My battery life is amazing too. And I'm on my phone all day long.

I also go into good guardians .

App optimize , close unused apps running in background in there as well.

I also turned on the performance profile to lite . As I do not play games on my phone so I don't prefer speed over battery life. I see no difference when using canva , editing apps . Gfx design apps etc. so , if your the same type of user or just use your phone for social media calls , daily tasks.

1 .Turn on your performance profile to lite.

2. Open good guardians . run app booster

3. Run memory guardian .
..

(I am using qhd+ as display size ) I just use performance profile to extend battery life over speed boost- which I don't see a neglect difference.)

I had a few issues with battery early on with beta 2, which is also when I joined the party! :party_popper:

One day, my battery dropped from 70 to the 40's very quickly. I reported this to Samsung using feedback tool that also send my usage logs.

I cleared cache partician at install, but have run this process a few times since.

Good Gurdians app booster once so far and memory guardian once along with the settings there.

I am not a gamer either, so the performance profile is set to lite. Zero difference in performance for everyday usage.

I do have several overlays which take battery :battery: such as Microsoft Launcher and SwiftKey for my preferred keyboard. Also, a lot of widgets that take some juice.

While I would not say my battery life is amazing, it is good and seems to have settled down over time.
It is about the same as OneUI 6 and gets through the day without breaking a sweat. I will be happy with any further optimizations of course, but each device will be different. Depends upon how many apps, screen time, etc.
I put apps that I don't use into sleep or deep sleep.
The phone aitomates some of this as well.
I turn off or minimize the amount of notifications for each app based upon need, and optimize battery per app as needed.
These are also useful to limit all the unnecessary background usage.

Screen brightness is set to adaptive. I just don't want to mess with it manually.
Good Guardians has a new module, Display Assistant where you can speed up the transition of brightness up to 4x. I really like this as the phone brightness adapts quickly to the ambient lighting.
Extra brightness is turned on.
Max resolution is also on.
Not willing to sacrifice the top optimized screen resolution available on the Ultra devices for the sake of a little extra battery life.

Anyway, my 2.5 cents worth on battery usage.

Same here and I play games.
I also noticed turning down your Ram+ settings to 4gb helps.
I suspect it's similar to the good guardians function. Less ram means less awake apps running in background.
