The AOD has been actonf weird. The icons were locked to the left of the screen and now the entire AOD won't stay on it keeps turning off by itself. Anyone have this experience before.

Was this after taking the beta updates? Installed any apps recently that you could think of that might explain different behavior? I had to reset my phone several months ago after taking that months Samsung update because all of a sudden the Settings app would crash anytime it was opened. That includes wifi settings, BT, app info screen, everything. It turns out that Samsung made some poor quality code changes in the settings app, which created a situation where some apps would then crash it. I never figured out exactly which app it was, but when I restored from the Samsung Cloud and it started restoring my apps, the problem came back. After reset, the problem came back. I had to reset again and that time I chose not to restore from the cloud. I have no idea what's going on with Samsung update QA team, but they are missing the mark, and I'm very disappointed. (My opinion.)

I tell you this, because if you can't figure it out, I would advise doing the hard step of backing up and resetting the phone. It's not ideal, and I put mine off for several weeks before I finally had to wipe it because I was so frustrated that I couldn't go into the Settings app at all.

Yes, I did the beta update, and it was fine, but I didn't want my DD to be compromised. I tried using smart switch from my laptop. That turned into a steaming pile of disappointment . So I did factory reset. That'd isn't take either since my original post. Well, the second factory reset seems to have taken. Although the AOD icons are locked to the left, I'll count my blessings. I do agree with you that Samsung needs to make sure updates are fully baked before releasing updates. The return of the vertical app drawer will be nice. The AOD suite needs work big time. It's been my experience with restoring from samsung Cloud. Now it's a **bleep** shoot whether it actually does its job. Thanks for the reply. It's not just me. Happy Holidays.šŸ¤¶
