Are recordings limited?

Are recordings limited to 60hz, I have developer options on and have show refresh rate on, and when I record it stays at 60hz, why is this?

Your phone only does as many hz as needed by whatever you're seeing, that's why it's adaptive refresh rate. If you record a video at 60fps, your hz will be 60hz
