Clear folders

How do I make the folder background transparent. The beta broke this for me but now that Homeup is updated and I still can't figure out how to make it transparent.

It appears that the option has been removed. You use to open the folder and beside the + button on the top was the option to change background colors.

That option was removed a long time ago, before the 8.5 beta.

It has been there since 6.1. Here, I made the background of the same folder, one black, the other transparent.

You have to pick either the icon pack on Theme Park or the folder opacity. You can't use them both.

But you said it was not available even before the beta, but it's been here since 6.1. You made a blanket claim that it was removed, not that it could not be used on packs etc. Also, I'm using an icon pack too, but I can change it still.

Yes, it's not a beta issue; that was a long time ago, before the beta. This happened when they released the theme park icon section, where you can change the shape and effect, not the icon pack.

Okay, I have to be more specific. The ability to change folder opacity was removed when they released the theme park icon. So, if you use the icon section to change the shape and effect, it will remove the option to change folder opacity.
So you have to choose you can't use them both.
Is that ok with you now?

You have to hold on the folder and go into settings. Samsung changed the method
