I plugged my zf5 to a standalone monitor via type c to type c cable and nothing happened. Checked all the settings and didn't see anything wrong. Is this a beta issue? Anybody else?
If Smartswitch is opened, Dex won't work. Did you turn on Developer Options? If not, turn it on and activate USB debugging, then "Allow" on the phone when prompted. I just tested it and it's working. I can record a video to guide you, in case it would be useful.
Please check the suggestion by @OBA . Once you connect a cable, there will be a pop-up on your device to "allow" the connection. Please tap on "allow" for device to connect to Dex or SmartSwitch.
If you have any further issues, please use the latest Samsung Members app to submit an error report.
