How to keep my S22Ultra in the beta but try out my Z Flip4

I have my S22U in the beta but I bought a z Flip4 to try out. I know that I need to keep my S22Ultra as is and I plan to get a temp new phone # on the Flip4 and forward my daily nber on the Ultra to the temp number on the Flip4. I will setup my emails on the Flip4 and disable the mail client on the Ultra. But, I can't figure out a way to get my messages (text/mms) on the Flip4. 

Any suggestions/ideas? Anything I might be overlooking? When the beta is done I will cancel my new temp number and put the sim from the Ultra into the Flip4 (if I decide to keep it) and the Ultra will become a backup phone.

I would throw it on prepaid, then you have the option of keeping the number or getting rid of it

Another question, I realized that I have smart switch backups of the S22Ultra, I wonder how it might work if I did a restore of the S22U backup to the Flip4? I guess worst case scenario is I do a factory reset on the Flip4 and go back to doing this manually?
