One UI 7 - Add Persistent Google Search Bar on Home Screen

Is there a way to set it up, similar to a Pixel, where the Google Search bar always shows up at the bottom of the screen on One UI 7? Besides adding it to every page of the home screen.

Thanks!

The easiest way to do that might be using a custom launcher. I know Nova launcher has a setting for that. But I couldn't find a persistent search bar setting in the regular One UI settings.

Please don't make it persistent. Some of us would rather not have google search on our homescreen. If you need it to be persistent that bad, please add your Google widget to each one of your homescreens. Then you have it persistent

You can add Google to the floating task bar which shows on every screen. It's not exactly the search bar, but it is a work around which will let you easily search from any screen

Hello,

Currently, One UI doesnā€™t offer a built-in option to make the Google Search bar persist across all home screen pages by default, like on Pixel devices. As a workaround, you can manually add the Google Search widget to each home screen page, though we understand thatā€™s not quite the same experience.

We appreciate your suggestionā€”persistent elements like this could be a great customization option, and weā€™ll be sure to pass it along to the relevant team for future consideration.

Thanks again for being part of the One UI Beta community.

Best regards,
One UI Beta Team
