Seems like a very long beta program considering that a stable version is available on the Ultra.

Yes. But the version the 7 ultra has was made specifically for it. Now they need to spend time properly adjusting things to make it work well on all the older hardware.

Thank you for your interest on Beta program.

There are still couple of more updates pending in Beta schedule, and we are ensuring the software stability before it goes public. 

There are still many issues unresolved in Beta software (Unsupportive Watch Faces, Battery Draining, Dev Mode settings, Workout auto sensor, Health...) and we are doing our best to optimize the software before release.
