I just noticed that it said my device isn't play protect certified is that because on a beta or that just happened with the newest beta

Google Certification issue is common during Beta, due to the software's unofficial status.

Apps will gradually be available during or after Beta, once the access is granted from Google for certain apps. 

Wallet, for example, is now available for use and so will other apps.

We appreciate your contribution to Beta program.
