Ever since beta 2 update I've been experiencing freezes and random reboots. Freezes I've got to use button combo to fix. Have done multiple reports but I'm asking if anyone else is experiencing this? If not I will try a fresh install as it happens often especially if playing games and phone is almost unusable as I can be on a call and it happens too. I know this is a beta so things like this are expected

I've cleared the cache partition multiple times and the phone isn't lagging as in games, sorry what I meant it will just quick reboot and then back to the lock screen or if it freezes it's a hard a freeze I have to force the phone to force reboot. This happens no matter what I do just seems when I play games it happens more often. Regardless I will try your steps. I'm almost done backing up all my media so if anything I will probably just wipe the data and start over

@Javsdaboss

That may be what is needed, a fresh start. Outside of that, trying these to narrow down possible causes first before starting over. Using the power down funciton to get to the screen to restart/power off etc, when that screen shows, touch and hold the power off button and a safe mode choice appears. Go into that mode. Use it to see if the device still experiences those events. If they do, then I would suggest a total factory install. If it does not, that will highly indicate that a 3rd party installation is the culprit. If 3rd party, try removing apps that use high volumes of resources after going out of safe mode to see how that works .

Run a diagnostics test in the Device Care app; Device Care/Diagnostics, then open phone diagnostics and let it run. If no errors pop up and since it was noted those freezes happen more often while running game apps, there may be an connection issue where the app(s) do not receive consistent data flows to and from the game servers and the system freezes (aka application not responding or ANR) after the system times out. Could be a poorly optimized/programmed app as well.

Some gaming apps need unrestricted resource to play properly, then I suggest the other apps be restricted more. Especially social media apps ifs used. Choose the gaming apps that need to be unrestricted and the easiest way is go to settings/apps then choose the most commonly used apps. If it is gaming app, open it, then choose battery and place it in unrestricted setting. The same for other preferred apps. The other used apps, set the  to optimized while going through the list. Then clear the partition cache after any of these seems to help. Also open an issue with the Members app. Then follow these instructions from the beta moderator,

@Javsdaboss Cool, I also thought maybe after my tl;dr reply (LOL) that try resetting the mobile and wifi connections including restarting the router, as they may have connection issues due to the update if the gaming apps need reliable data transfer. GO to settings/general management/reset/reset mobile network settings and the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth settings. Note of resetting the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, all paired Bluetooth device will be removed and ill need to be paired again, Wi-FI only need to login again. That is on top of clearing the partition cache when restarting the phone.

So I reset the phone and it's back to running. Haven't had any reboots yet but did get a hard freeze. After that cleared cache again and did the good guardian app optimize. Ran phone diagnostics and everything came out good. Now idk if I could be software or the phone itself. Going to try to wait for next beta but most likely I will have to downgrade if it returns how it was before I reset device. Seeing as no one else has reported anything on here makes me think it's a me thing

Yeah it's off, unfortunately the reboots are becoming too much. Will just have to downgrade and rule out that it's not the phone.
