I really wanted to continue but almost all my apps crash in the exact same spots very consistently. I know how you're supposed to remove the Beta with Smart Switch but it seems like only the Mac version doesn't work. It won't recognize my phone after attempting to connect.

Hello,

Please erase the device cache using steps below. If issue persists, Please back up all you data and perform a master reset on the device.

  1. Turn off the device.
  2. Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Side key.
  3. When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
  4. An 'Installing system update' message may show briefly before the Android Recovery menu options appear.
  5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight Wipe cache partition.
  6. Press Side key to select.
  7. Press the Volume down key to highlight Yes, then press the Side key to select.
  8. When the process is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
  9. Press the Side key to restart the device.

Questions
What does wiping the cache do? I haven't done that.

If it stops the crashing and I can stay on the beta I'm all for it.

Edit: I decided to go through with it.
Everything is all in order.
No crashing since, thank you
Glad I'll be able to keep testing this beta out
