Hello everyone does anyone know how to activate RCS on the s22 unlock on t mobile?

Can confirm, I will also check my wife's locked, I don't remember seeing it available in the Tmo branded one, but to be fair I wasn't looking.

I dug and dug and dug. If anyone were to be able to figure out how to get RCS on Samsung Messages I'd put their kids through college... if I had that kinda money. Google messages has been bleh.

I cannot get RCS to work on T-Mobile after upgrading to Beta.

That sucks I have At&t and it works great with Samsung messages

Try turning sim card off and on. You have to do it any time you reboot.

If you have unlocked or T-mobile branded. Android messages uses T-mobile RCS. The Samsung one does not and is honestly probably going to be phased out.

if it is phased out, that will be very disappointing. the ability to set up multiple categories (various work and other) is superior. Google's "categories" are whatever they decide...not useful for me.

Sadly, rcs messages don't work on unlocked phones. Google messages does connect with jibe mobile and will only work with anyone else that uses the same. It would be a great idea if Samsung would allow Samsung messages or Google messages to work with any carrier using rcs

S22 connects to T-Mobile not Jibe. Check Google Forums for Android Messages. They have it stickied.
