If you have not already done so you might try repeated manual attempts to update. Auto-update may work, but you will never know when it will trigger, and if your luck runs as my luck runs, it will never happen at a convenient time.
Unfortunately, it is a brute force method, but that is as elegant as it gets. Maybe Samsung will throttle-up the download servers. A little extra bandwidth would help out immensely.
