QuestionsI have seen several videos stating that if your phone is stollen, the first thing the theif will do is swipe down and turn on flight mode (so you cannot track the phone). The videos will show how to disable the swipe down on Iphones but have not found out how to do it on a Samsung. I have gone to settings Home screen and switched off Swipe down for notification panel, but this does not switch off the swipe down and you still have access to flight mode.. Any suggestions?

QuestionsHello,
Thank you for bringing this up ā itās a valid concern, especially regarding device security in the event of theft. As you've observed, disabling āSwipe down for notification panelā on the Home screen settings only affects the Home screen itself and doesnāt restrict access to the Quick Panel from the lock screen.
Unfortunately, at this time, Samsung doesn't offer a built-in option to fully block access to Quick Panel features like Flight Mode when the phone is locked. However, weāve received similar feedback from other users and understand how valuable this kind of security enhancement could be. Weāve shared your concern with the development team for review in future updates.
In the meantime, here are a few tips to help reduce risk:
Enable Find My Mobile (Settings > Security and Privacy > Find My Mobile) and turn on Remote Unlock and Send last location.
Use Secure Lock Settings (Settings > Lock Screen > Secure Lock Settings) to enable options like Lock network and security, which can help prevent network changes while locked (carrier/device dependent).
We appreciate your input!
Regards,
One UI Beta Team
